B-STOCK Ohana TK-75G Limited Edition All Solid Tenor Ukulele
This is a real beauty of a uke, with sparkles and fancy bits everywhere you look. It is technically B-stock as a result of a little discolouration of the spruce top around the soundhole. In patches, near the bottom of the soundhole decoration the spruce is a little yellower than elsewhere on the top. I've tried to enhance this on the photographs, but to be honest, it is pretty hard to see!
The TK-75G is a limited edition from Ohana with a solid spruce top and solid flamed maple back and sides, a pretty, light combination of woods which will make it stand out. If that wasn't enough there is some very pleasant mahogany binding, and abalone inlays and soundhole ring. The headstock continues this theme of binding and inlay for a striking look.
It has good quality gold coloured closed geared tuners, bone nut and saddle and an ebony fingerboard. The sound is strong and bright, powerful and melodic. While it strums perfectly nicely, the response as you go further up the neck is a real hightlight, and would suit someone looking to develop your skills in that direction.
