Ohana TK-70M Solid Spruce Top Tenor Ukulele
This is a new model from Ohana, available at a special introductory rate!
The TK-70 has a matt finish, solid spruce top and laminate mahogany back and sides. There are some nice features like the cream binding, black and white purfling and abalone soundhole ring, as well as a slotted headstock. The vintage style tuners are great looking and work smoothly, and there’s a bone nut and saddle and Aquila strings too.
The uke comes into its own in the sound department. Many ukes are a bit lacking in the bass department, and often all of the tone is in the middle of the sound spectrum. That’s the reason many ukes when amplified, sound better with the bass boosted and the mid range tones dialled down a little. But this ukulele seems to have done that for you, with a richness at the bass end and lively trebles at the top end, an in-built acoustic EQ, if you will!
