This is the Tiny Bass TR-4, a short scale jazz bass from Japan. It has roundwound strings, which are handmade in Italy by Dogal. This one has a natural finish with a solid ash body.

Tiny Basses (formerly known as Tiny Boy), are short scale bass guitars that fit in perfectly with ukulele groups, clubs and performers, giving rich bass tones and precision playability - while coming in smaller than comparable Flight and Kala basses. I could use the term ‘bass ukulele’, but they’re in effect (like the others), small bass guitars.

They are particularly good ones too! They play really nicely and the range of rich tones is a delight. I stumble a little when playing bass - but I was happy to test these out a lot longer than I normally would as I was enjoying myself!
