This is an all solid African mahogany concert ukulele from aNueNue’s Hawaiian Dream series, a range of more affordable instruments that takes aspects of their high end ukes to inject some of that DNA into the range. Even if the name of the series is a bit twee.

The C30 from aNueNue has plenty of volume and some good sustain from the fluorocarbon strings (aNueNue Clear Waters), with a pleasant clarity when picked, and a good, melodic chime when strummed. It’s a bit of an all rounder, with the all solid wood giving some depth, and a woody, natural tone.

Geared tuners are fitted, and there’s a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, with a 36mm nut width. The C30 has a satin finish and is relatively plain - aside from a subtle soundhole rosette. It comes with a decent gig bag too.
