This is Maui Music ukulele, made by experienced and celebrated luthier Pete Liebermann. It has a concert ukulele body and a tenor ukulele neck, delivering a sweeter concert tone, with the space offered by a longer, tenor neck.

This one is made from all solid koa, entirely by hand in Pete’s small Maui workshop, with a satin finish and loads of visual flair - including perfectly done abalone inlays, fingerboard binding, bridge inlay and soundhole rosette. That’s a lot of shell, but it is all done in a classy way, which only seems to highlight the lovely warm hue of the koa.

The sound is full and rich, with a harmonic glow… (a what? yes, I do write the first thing that comes into my head! But I play it and that’s what springs to mind). There’s lots of sustain, and it seems to bloom, with the volume almost swelling to a crecendo after you strum.

This Maui Music ukulele is supplied in a pod style rigid case, and is fitted with black nylon strings with a wound C. It has a 35mm nut width.

At the bottom of the page you’ll find a number of optional extras, which are standard to all ukes on my site. You can ignore the case and bag options, as this super concert comes with one - but you might want to consider things like a low G or strap buttons.
