This Snail SUC-M1 is a really great option for those looking to upgrade from basic instruments, but who don't posses a huge budget. It has so much going for it, with a nice gloss finish, natural unstained mahogany body and an ebony bridge, fingerboard and headstock faceplate.

With D'addario Titanium strings fitted, it has a real zip to the tone, with crisp trebles and a good level of sustain. The tuners are robust, chrome affairs and it has a 35mm bone nut and compensated saddle. It even comes with a gig bag supplied. Lots of specification for a price tag that is relatively modest.

When you play the SUC-M1, you get a sweet tone, which is well balanced across the strings and plenty of volume too. It looks and sounds like something much more expensive - and is one of the best value ukes I've come across.
