DISCONTINUED Eden Origin Tenor Ukulele & Gig Bag - A World of Ukes Brand
These instruments are now discontinued - the increase in price to get them shipped to me means they’ll no longer be viable. I am clearing out my final examples. As with most inexpensive instruments from China, you can expect some tiny imperfections in the finish, but they still look good and sound excellent, particularly for this money.
Eden is a brand from World of Ukes, sourced and designed to specification in China. The first in this series of instruments is the Origin, a tenor ukulele with solid cedar top, laminate acacia back and sides, a gloss finish, hardwood binding and rope style inlay and rope binding and soundhole rosette.
The purpose of the Eden brand is to match and beat the flood of own-brand direct-from-China imports that look nice but aren’t great. With Eden, each ukulele is set up with Worth Brown strings and equipped with two strap buttons and good quality closed geared tuners. The Eden logo is inlaid into the headstock. The back of this gloss finished tenor ukulele is slightly arched, which I think adds a touch more of a mellow edge to the sound.
With Eden ukuleles you get incredible value. This great looking ukulele has a good quality padded gig bag included in the price - and even without that, the value for a solid top instrument is already great. I sourced the bags separately, they’re nicely made 10mm padded grey gig bags, with sturdy zips, a really good carrying handle and an accessory pocket.
The sound is rich and warm, with a good depth - topped off with plenty of sparkle at the treble end. It is nice to play too, with a 35mm nut. Available in limited numbers, this is a ukulele that truly leads the way at its price point.
PLEASE NOTE, AT THIS REDUCED PRICE THIS MODEL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THE UK.
