Kala Klipz Rechargeable Ukulele Tuner - Tie Dye
This is a ukulele tuner that you’ll find hard to lose, if it drops off the end of your uke in the middle of a gig. It’s on the bright side, both the clear display and the colourful housing too. Kala do a range of different Klipz tuners and this, while perfectly good, is the more ‘basic’ one, in terms of the mechanism for attaching it to your uke, which doesn’t allow the full rotation and swivel of the more expensive version. Still works of course, and you can turn it to face you, which is all you need really.
Another key feature is that you can charge it via a USB lead (one is supplied). It has functions for different instruments, including ukulele - or just use it with the chromatic function for any note.
And, if you are conflicted by the tie dye pattern, synonymous with counter-culture and alternative, hippy lifestyles being on inexpensive Chinese made electronics? Well… the first known examples of tie dye techniques were from the Siu Dynasty in China in the 5th century. (I wonder if I overthink things sometimes!)
This item is only available in the UK, unless ordered with a ukulele.
