A KA-ZCT-S. Ziracote. Lots of z's... Which is why I don't want to use the word 'zingy' to describe this little package of fun. Don't want to overdo the z's. But it is 'zingy' and no other word will do.

Visually, there's so much going on, with the laminate ziracote body a pretty picture of waves of dark wood grain, alongside that striking gold coloured heartwood.

Fitted with Aquila strings, it delivers plenty of volume and projection, with a nice clarity. As I said, zingy. Zingy, zingy, zingy. It feels nicely balanced, has decent quality geared tuners and while the fingerboard is walnut, it has been cleverly stained to appear more like rosewood (which fit the aesthetic better).

If you're after something that looks striking, yet doesn't break the bank, this little beauty could well be just the ticket
