Ohana do make a nice soprano ukulele, and the SK-50MG is a great example. Something in the way they’re made gives them a vintage-style bit of ‘bark’ to the tone, while the looks are great too, with rope style inlays around the soundhole and body.

The top is a tightly grained solid cedar, while the laminate back and sides are attractive flamed mahogany (flaming has nothing to do with flames - don’t worry, this Ohana SK-50MG has not been barbecued!). It is fitted with Aquila strings and decent quality geared tuners.
