Ohana TPK-70G All Solid Pineapple Sopranino Ukulele
Small scale ukes like this can sound a little tinny, but this all solid TPK-70G makes every effort to deliver a much fuller tone than most sopraninos. For a start, the top is solid spruce and the back and sides, solid mahogany. Also, the pineapple shape means the resonating surface of the top is larger, again helping this uke sound good.
True, it isn't as loud as some sopranos, but what you do get is bright and perky, with a bit of 'bark' in the tone. And it is a lovely looking thing too, with rosewood binding and, a nice mahogany grain and abalone aplenty in pretty much every available space!
If you're thinking of either a sopranino or pineapple uke for your collection, you can kill two birds with one stone with this TPK-70G, in style.
If you want to know the difference between this and the PK-70G - this one is a sopranino, and that’s the soprano version.
