Uluru Manako I All Solid Mango Soprano Ukulele
This is a really nice sounding soprano ukulele from Uluru, made in Vietnam in a small workshop to very high standards. It’s simple, plain to look at if anything, but lightly made and really very resonant as a result. The all solid mango top and body is cut nice and thin, allowing plenty of volume to burst out.
The Uluru Manako I has a sweet tone which marries up brightness and warmth together really well, giving a rounded, well balanced tone. It can kick out a nice, traditional soprano ‘bark’, and is versatile enough for sweet, well-sustained melodies too.
The Uluru is supplied with a very nice quality gig bag, fluorocarbon strings and smooth-turning geared tuners with wooden buttons. There’s not a huge amount to say about it’s satin-finish appearance - it’s unadorned and uses a traditional body shape. But, the sound is well above average for the price.
