This was a uke that was sent out and subsequently had a string change and low G fitted (fluorocarbon). It was then returned due to a crack on the top (pictured). It’s very fine and very hard to see.

A normal person would have sent this back, but I decided to keep an eye on it for a full 12 months, decide it must be ‘skin deep’ so to speak and then sell it at a loss! It’s not exactly business acumen but I would prefer it gets played than get sent back!

The issue is very minor. To be honest, I almost wondered if the wood had continued to grow in my workshop as it’s virtually impossible to detect!
