This is a new ukulele with a very tiny flaw. It looks like the factory were going to fit a position marker at the third fret (which it wouldn’t normally have), and have made a small depression ready to fill with the marker - then realised they were on the wrong fret. So there’s a tiny mark there, shallow and you don’t feel it, but visible.
