This is a new ukulele but it is VERY B-Stock - the pickup doesn’t work. The built in tuner does… but there’s no output through to an amp.

I have a system in my workshop. And in light of this uke, it’s not the most sensible one! I check for any extras, like a low G fitting. This one the customer wanted a Fremont low G fitted, which I did. I then levelled various frets, the action at the saddle and nut and oiled the fingerboard. Only then did I plug it into an amp. Dead. Why don’t I plug it in first before wasting that time?! Hopefully I will learn!

In effect you’re getting a solid top, wide neck Snail tenor, with a low G, and a built in tuner, for less than the price of a Snail SUT-M1, which is £159. And a tuner thrown in. Or built in, you might say.
