This ukulele has kindly been donated by Kala Brand UK to raise funds for Thames Hospice, which I do in the memory of my late best friend Steve.

This new model is an upgrade on the regular contour series despite having the same solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. As well as the aesthetic elements that add some more sparkle, this uke has a side sound port and lattice bracing, which gives more tonal complexity, harmonics and direct response to the player.

It has clear fluorocarbon strings, a gig bag, 38mm nut, geared tuners and a comfort edge, as well as a cutaway body shape.
