CHARITY SALE Used Lava U Tenor Electro Ukulele
This is a used ukulele that has been kindly donated to me to raise funds for Thames Hospice in memory of my late best friend Steve. It was given to me by a customer for this purpose, which is lovely.
This is a plastic and carbon fibre tenor ukulele, fitted with a low G. It is in generally good condition but the controls have a plastic sticker to tell you what is what… which has rubbed a bit and it’s hard to see. To be honest, you can work out what does what by twiddling knobs! More importantly, while it works - the knob controlling the reverb is very stiff. It comes in a hard case, which looks funky but is white, so a bit impractical, and this one has several scuffs.
This model was reviewed on Got A Ukulele and actually, that would be a good one to read. (You can do so by clicking here) As it explains all the functionality very well. It gets a decent score apart from value for money… where Barry Maz considered it overpriced. This one is much less than half price, so you can ignore that part! It doesn’t have a strap with it - and a strap button can’t be attached, so it’s a ‘sit down’ uke!
Even if you don’t use all of its bells and whistles, it’s actually a good, semi-indestructible tenor ukulele to take on your travels, at a price here where that makes sense.
I still have to pay the VAT man on this - but all of the rest of the money will go to charity.
Sorry, I can’t send anything from the special offers section to the EU.
