This is a new instrument - on offer as Kiwaya are making changes to their range. This model will still be available, but under their ‘Famous’ brand name (usually used for their domestic market only). Basically the name on the headstock will change going forward, so I have a couple left with ‘Kiwaya’ written there (which I prefer), going cheap!

The KLS-2G is a long neck soprano - so a soprano body with a neck that’s as long as a concert ukulele. This, coupled with a nut width just shy of 37mm means you get the sweet soprano sound, with more room for your fingers (so ideal for soprano-curious players with larger hands!)

This Kiwaya uke has geared tuners, is fitted with D’addario Titanium nylon strings and is made with high pressure laminate koa (which Kiwaya are great at). As such it’s sweet, bubbly, crisp and articulate.
