So what have we got here. An all solid koa tenor ukulele from aNueNue’s Bird series. With a hard case. With the aNueNue AirAir pickup (with undersaddle pickup, internal microphone and controls to blend between the two). We’ve got Gotoh UPT rear facing tuners. A gloss finish. aNueNue Black Water strings, and a nut width just over 36mm. And it is in mint condition. And it’s not at £1,299, it’s at £699?

This one came from the former UK distributor of aNueNue, who found they had a number of models in their studio, for photography purposes etc. They’ve called them ex-display, and it may have been played by members of staff from time to time. But you wouldn’t know it, it’s perfect.

I really could have put this on the shelf and sold it as new. The price I was offered it for was ridiculous. If I had one of these in second hand in good condition I’d be looking for £849. And it was tempting to be greedy and ask for that! But I’ve put it on with my regular profit margin. It’s a silly price, really silly, but I make what I need to make and so that seems enough!

I would say that if this takes your fancy, I’d not hang around as it surely can’t last long. My colleague Jerry sorts out my storeroom and he unpacked it and almost bought it himself, just because it seemed such a bargain!
