This is a ‘new’ (as in never owned) Hawaiian made tenor ukulele, but is an older model with the Tru bracing (as opposed to the newer Tru-R). You can look at it in two ways - the wood is a little more mature and seasoned, or you can think ‘well, they must have updated the bracing for a reason’. However, the fact it’s inexpensive as a result should make up for that latter point, as it’s still a very nice uke indeed.

It’s been a while since I was a Kanile’a dealer - people always used to try them and buy aNueNue’s… but then that was when aNueNue’s were cheaper! Plus, I am definitely not the UK’s specialist in Hawaiian made ukes and have always had a fondness for things from the east, and perhaps that showed.

Anyway, it’s a classic - Hawaiian made, all solid koa, pod case, 38mm nut… I don’t need to sell it as if you’re interested, you probably already know that they’re a) really good and b) popular as a result.
