This is a new instrument that was prepared for a customer with a Mi-Si pickup (worth £195), a low G (Fremont) and two strap buttons. After doing this the customer advised they’d located an alternative instrument (a Moon Bird with a torrified spruce top) from a different supplier (UK based, but dealing in ‘grey imports’) They had wanted that model initially but I didn’t have one and then they found one elsewhere. We have come to an agreement, given the work done to this ukulele, that allows me to sell it for less than the cost of an acoustic model (which is £1,369). With a Mi-Si fitted the regular price would be £1,564. So given it’s perfect, that’s a good deal.
