This is a brand new instrument. All of the Maia ukes, because of the variation in the solid mango top, look a little different. But this one is more different than I’ve ever seen. Some are fairly plain, some have lots of dark spalted areas. But this one is a totally different colour and a grain pattern that’s particularly non-standard. Now, there’s nothing wrong with it or the way it looks, but it’s so out of the norm I’d rather move it on and get another that’s more regular. I think everyone would agree to look this different from all the others requires a separate listing at the very least.

I put pictures of this and some others on Facebook and this particular one had quite a few fans - so it’s not an ugly duckling or anything. I suppose what’s what me reduce it is that I don’t personally like it a great deal! It’s not a big reduction, but then there’s no need to reduce it really, so that’s why it isn’t big!
