This is a new instrument, although different from standard as it has a Fremont low G fitted. It plays fine, but I have struggled to get the action as low as I’d like. It’s at 2.75mm at the 12th fret, which is perfectly playable. But when I tried 2.5mm, it wasn’t playing cleanly (frets are levelled so it’s just the neck angle and the lack of tension that lowering the saddle to that extent that’s just not suiting it). I’ve replaced the saddle with a new one and not gone quite as low and it’s fine now.
