This is a pre-production model - which means it was an experiment to see if it worked before going into full production in Ohana’s custom shop in the USA. It’s in production now - so clearly one that worked! As a result it was sold to me at a lower price than usual - but is a new ukulele, with a hard case.

It’s made from all solid koa from Hawaii and has a gloss finish and Worth Brown strings. The sound is ruch, luscious and sultry. It’s full and warm with a touch of sparkle at the top end. It sounds fab, it really does.

These are made by Brad in California and even at the full price, it’s a good price for a luthier made instrument. This one has a standard nut with of 35mm. Production ones have a wider nut but I prefer this if I’m honest - seems to fit the concert nicely.
