This solid spruce top tenor guitar has laminate pau ferro back and sides and a satin finish. Usually they’re tuned CGDA, but they can also be tuned DGBE, like a baritone, so that’s what I’ve gone for here, assuming most players will want it to sound like a steel string baritone. It has a zingy, yet deep tone, with loads of sustain and good volume. At this price it becomes a serious alternative to things like the Flight Maia, but for those who are more budget conscious!

One thing to point out is that tenor guitars traditionally have a narrower nut width than ukuleles and that’s the case here, at around 32mm. Your steel strings are thin, so it doesn’t feel that narrow. I have no issue with it, but for the nut width police out there, it’s on the narrow side for sure!
