I have a small number of these solid mahogany Kala tenor ukuleles, which were made available to me on a special deal - and I snapped them up.

They’re a brilliant price for an all solid ukulele, with nice vintage looks with the deep mahogany stain and black and white binding and purfling. The vintage-look geared tuners work well and keep that old school vibe going in the looks department.

Fitted with D’addario Titanium strings (which are rectified nylon, not titanium!), they have a warm, gentle, rich tone, ideal for laid back bluesy numbers or just for a softer, more subtle strum. The nut width is 35mm.

It doesn’t have strap buttons. They can be added here.
