USED Barebones Colonial Tenor Ukulele - Made in New Zealand.
This is an unusual one, a used Barebones ukulele from New Zealand. I met the maker of these some years ago and he made six of these tenors for me.
This one has seen some use and over the years has picked up a few minor scratches - plus it has some finish issues where the neck joins the body. It has been fitted with a new set of aNueNue Blue Moon low G strings and it sounds good. These are significant bits of kit - there’s a fair weight to them! But it has a nice rich voice all the same, despite that bulk.
Ultimately it’s a handmade ukulele for next to nothing, and a playable talking point!
