This is a used ukulele and there’s quite a lot to unpack…

The KA-ATP5-CTG is the forerunner of Kala’s KA-SCAC-T5 model (£299), although it was the same spec (solid cedar top, acacia back and sides), it was prettier, with its padauk binding.

This one is supplied in a hard case - which wouldn’t have been there from new. And has also been fitted with a pro-level Mi-Si pickup (£195). So, that’s where I have the ‘new price’ of £494 from.

The condition is OK. It all works and it sounds good. But it has been well played, with a number of small cosmetic marks here and there. Nothing to write home about other than the strum marks around the soundhole. With it being cedar, these don’t show up a great deal… but I have made them show up in the photos so you can see what I mean. Don’t want them to look that bad? Don’t shine a torch on them like me haha!

Since the photos have been taken, the strings have been replaced for a new set of fluorcarbon strings, paired with a Fremont low G for the 5th string.
