This is a White Label Kamaka soprano ukulele that is being sold on behalf of a customer.

I know lots of things about ukuleles… but not a great deal about older ones (there’s enough to do to keep up with the new ones), but I understand it is likely to be from the 80s. It’s made from all solid koa, with a satin finish, friction pegs and a 38mm nut.

It is supplied in a (modern) Gator hard case which is just the job.

It is in decent condition for its age, although at some point a crack in the top (pictured) has been soundly repaired. It’s a nice little piece of history and plays well too. Unsurprisingly given it’s Hawaiian origin, it has a typical, sunny, island sound!
