This is a used instrument in good condition. The dark ziricote, if tilted to the light can reveal one or two hairline scratches, not deep at all, on the back. There’s also a small blemish (pictured) close to the bridge.

This is a custom one-off luthier-made instrument. After Millar made a batch of fantastic ziricote soprano ukuleles, a customer asked if it was possible to have a concert made. This was done, but as a one-off, never to be repeated the price was higher. Sadly there’s a small flaw on the top, which is pictured - which is smooth and under the finish. However, it did put the customer off (which is totally fine). So I have put it up here at what it cost me.

This is a gloss finish, all solid ziricote concert ukulele, with mother of pearl and abalone soundhole decoration, a 35mm but width and maple binding. It is fitted with Gotoh UPT tuners and aNueNue Clear Water strings.

The sound is full and very pretty… though it isn’t the loudest (not quiet, but not explosive). It’s more laid back and relaxed in its very dainty, sweet tone. I made a video of this one which you can view by clicking additional info below (back when it was first sold)
