Back in 2018 I commissioned aNueNue to make me a series of 18 tenor ukuleles, the Light Bird model. With a solid cedar top and solid mahogany back and sides it was an attempt to make a uke with the sound of a Cedar Bird (£1,369), with a price closer to the all solid mahogany AMM3 (£669). It was a big hit, disappeared immediately and then aNueNue wouldn’t make any more (I think they may have realised my project was a little too successful in getting close to the Cedar Bird for half the money!)

This one is used but in fantastic condition. The hard case (a blue aNueNue special one( is supplied too and that’s in great condition too.

There’s a 36.5mm nut width, aNueNue Black Water strings, slotted headstock and a gloss finish, with satin neck. In 2018 I had some serious health problems and haven’t got a lot of memory from that time - so seeing this again I am quite impressed with what I was up to!
