It is also fitted with fluorocarbon strings, which ring out nicely and sustain well, especially compared to the Aquila strings that are often fitted to tenor ukuleles at this price point.

The Uma UK-06ST is a great choice for players on a budget who want to avoid the lottery of cheap Amazon laminate ukes. It’s not the most handsome instrument I suppose, in terms of decoration, but it’s hard to beat in terms of sound and playabilty.
