These are UBASS strings, made for Kala in the USA by LaBella. They are made from with a steel core, with a roundwound nickel outer wrapping. They are designed for solid body UBASS models with magnetic pickups (i.e. not for electro acoustic instruments).

These are for regular bass tuning, EADG, suitable for 23.5” scale length. The gauges are:  .050 (1.27 mm), .065 (1.65 mm), .95 (2.41 mm), .110 (2.75 mm)

These strings give a balanced tone, with a well defined mid-range.
