These are lower tension fluorocarbon strings, with a softer feel and slightly warmer sound than most fluorocarbon ukulele strings. They’ve been designed to feel comfortable and are described as being closer in tone to a classic island sound, with the benefit of good sustain like other fluorocarbon strings.

These smoke grey coloured ukulele string sets fit soprano, concert or tenor sizes (the same pack), so for that reason alone are a handy spare set to keep for emergencies as they’ll be suitable for any of those sizes.

They come in three variants:

Lava 1: High G

Lava 2: Low G with unwound low G

Lava 3: Low G with wound low G
