This is a brand new instrument. I am being fussy I know, but on the back there are two tiny white marks. This is just something that got onto the instrument before the finish was applied and it perfectly smooth to the touch. I think it’s just some dust that settled before the varnish was applied - a bit like a fly trapped in amber! Other than that, brand new.
