This is a one off instrument. It’s new (but has a story), and has had two strap buttons fitted by a customer who returned it - as such it is not standard.

It was returned because the customer felt the nut was cut incorrectly, stating that the strings should just crown the groove, and that the slots were cut untidily and too deeply. I informed the customer that if this had been the case, the ukulele would have been unplayable at the nut. I have included a picture of it, with the grooves cut individually for the different thicknesses of strings - and stand by it. It plays really well.

I have reduced the price in part because of the strap buttons meaning it is ‘non-standard’, but in part as I want to see the back of it. Stupidly I spotted the email while checking my phone for the time at 6.30am on a Sunday morning and the message was somewhat confrontational and upsetting. So, it is priced to go and go fast as I really don’t want to see it anymore!
