This is a new ukulele, that was briefly owned for a couple of days. The customer requested an unusual tuning, including a low G and an E that was an octave higher than a regular (using the E from a soprano 5ths tuning set). Unfortunately they didn’t like the string and complained that it felt too tight. It was the right string for the job, but it was true I suppose, as you’ll notice it only has 3 strings in the photos now as it snapped when I inspected it upon its return.

It has a wound low G on and that actually works well (not usually a fan of those on a soprano - but here it’s fine). So I am proposing to leave that on and re-string the C, E and A normally, before it leaves. (This’ll be done, you don’t have to ask!)

The customer suggested I keep £25 from their refund, and I’ve done that and passed it on as a discount here. The uke is in perfect condition, by the way.
