EVENT CONDITIONS

In the main, event cancellation requests can be handled on a one to one basis. If you can not make an event, it is always best to get in touch, rather than rely solely on the conditions below. Sometimes we have sold out events with a waiting list for example, and are more than happy to assist if we can.

Each event is different, with varying degrees of up front costs - meaning sometimes we offer more of a refund than others. Some of our events generate a profit, others in the past have made a loss - and in the former case we may well offer a partial refund even if cancelled at short notice.

However, 30 days before any event - we are unable to make any refunds. At this point, we stop treating your payment as a deposit, and declare it non-refundable and report that payment to the VAT office. Beyond that point, we cannot provide refunds. It is usually the time too, that we have to commit to paying the venue of the event, so beyond that point we cannot get a refund for what we’ve committed to pay.

In the scenario where the government enforces an event cancellation by restricting travel or gatherings - bookings will be transferred to a future, rearranged date. In that scenario refunds cannot be given until a new date is arranged (if that date is unsuitable, refunds can be considered at that point).
