SALE Kiwaya KTT-2 All Solid Mahogany Tenor Ukulele
This is brand new Japanese-made Kiwaya tenor ukulele. I wanted to get a KPT-1M, but they were out of stock, and I allowed myself to be talked into this one instead with a special offer. (I can’t resist a bargain either). Kiwaya have an extensive range and I can’t stock every single one, so this wasn’t on my radar until the deal I was offered! So, I’m just passing on my discount and someone will get a lovely ukulele at a better price.
The KTT-2 is modelled on an old Martin style uke, with solid mahogany used with a satin finish, and a very light build which gives some mahogany warmth, but also a fairly ‘breezy’ lightness to the sound. So you get that warmth but not muddiness, and it’s got a clarity and an articulate nature.
This one has excellent Gotoh geared tuners, Fremont Blackline high G strings and a 36mm nut width. It’s a great example of Japanese craftsmanship, with lovely playability and a vintage tone.
