This is a short scale bass, with metal wound strings and a pickup, supplied with a nice fitted gig bag. It’s proof that while always tempting you with special offers, I get tempted myself! I got some of these on a special deal that enables me to reduce the price very significantly.

Although not a huge acoustic volume, that volume is significantly greater than other models, like the Ubass, with the bronze wound strings and larger body giving a reasonable acoustic output. It is fitted with Fishman’s impressive Classica II pickup which performs very well and has tone and volume controls, plus a built in tuner.

This instrument is sold as a bass ukulele, but with its 41mm nut width and larger scale, while still compact and in keeping with a ukulele group aesthetic, is is more like a compact electro acoustic bass guitar.
