I secured a number of these ‘basic-but-good’ tenor ukuleles recently when the supplier received an excess of them in error. They’d been supplied as a subsitute for another model and as this one wasn’t in their catalogue, a special price was agreed for the lot.

These are brand new instruments, made from laminate mahogany, with Aquila strings and geared tuners, and a light gig bag provided. They play perfectly well, with a 35mm nut and a nice balance - and they’re livelier, with more pep than many inexpensive laminate instruments.

If you have new starters in your club on a budget, these are a good option to suggest.
